The IP pool sits at over 120 million addresses across 195 countries, which puts it in the same league as much more expensive competitors. For anyone doing web scraping, automated testing, or data collection at scale, it is worth a proper look.

Registration

To get started, you need to register. To do this, go to https://proxyscrape.com/ and click the "Sign up" button located in the top right corner. After that, register using the standard Login/Password form or through quick registration via Google. The whole process takes under two minutes. Once you are in, you can either buy proxies right away or take ProxyScrape's free trial for a spin before committing any money.

Free Proxies

After registration, you will get access to 100 shared datacenter proxies for 7 days with a traffic usage limit of 10 GB. In the free trial version, only the HTTP connection protocol is available, while SOCKS5 becomes available only after purchase.

Important: To use the free proxies, you need to whitelist your IP address; otherwise, the proxies will not work. To do this, click on the "IP Authentication" menu item, then click the "Add new IP" button and enter your IP address.

Rotating Residential Proxies

Residential proxies route your traffic through real consumer devices, which means the IP addresses are registered under ISPs rather than datacenters. Websites that check IP reputation. Premium Datacenter Proxies

The product ProxyScrape calls "premium datacenter proxies" are, in practice, shared datacenter proxies. Multiple users share the same IP pool, which keeps costs low but means you occasionally inherit the history of whoever used an IP before you. The pool goes up to 40,000 addresses, bandwidth is genuinely unlimited, and you can choose from various locations. Prices start at $25 per month for 1,000 proxies. Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

These are datacenter proxies where the IP addresses belong only to you. They are more expensive than shared datacenter proxies but are considered more stable and faster since they are used only by you. The minimum purchase starts from 5 proxies, the location is only the USA, traffic is unlimited, and you pay only per IP address. The price depends on the number of IP addresses in the order. Rotating Mobile Proxies

These are proxies with IP addresses from mobile carriers. Essentially, they are like premium rotating residential proxies but with a limited IP pool. They are considered more stable and anonymous than residential proxies, but due to the limited number of IP addresses available per day, they are better suited for consistent daily data collection.

The price depends on the purchase volume and the number of days the purchased traffic will be available. Available locations are only the USA, United Kingdom, and Austria.

Purchasing Proxies

You can purchase proxies from your dashboard by clicking the "Add Service" button or from the main page. Notably, if you click the "Add Service" button, mobile proxies will not appear in the list. Therefore, if you need to purchase mobile proxies specifically, you need to open their main page, then open the "Services" menu item and select mobile proxies from the list.

After selecting the desired pricing plan and purchase period, you can proceed to payment. To do this, choose your preferred payment method and fill in all the required information.

Who Should Use ProxyScrape?

The shared datacenter proxies are the best value in the lineup for anyone running automation or testing against targets with low bot protection. At $0.025 per proxy with unlimited bandwidth, you can run large-scale test suites without watching a data meter tick. The dedicated datacenter proxies make sense for account-based workflows where IP consistency matters. QA teams, social media automation, and browser fingerprinting setups where a changing IP would trigger re-verification.

The residential proxies are priced in the middle of the market at around $4.85/GB on small plans, dropping as volume increases. That is not the cheapest option available. You can find residential proxies from other providers at $1-2/GB if you shop around. But the 55 million IP pool and genuine city-level targeting mean you are getting something for the premium. The unlimited residential plan is genuinely interesting for LLM data pipelines and bulk crawl jobs where per-GB billing would become expensive fast.

Mobile proxies are limited to three countries right now. That is a real restriction for anyone who needs carrier IPs in Southeast Asia, Latin America, or continental Europe outside of those three markets. If your target locations are the USA, UK, or Austria, the mobile tier works fine. Otherwise, you will want to look at providers with broader mobile coverage.

What ProxyScrape Does Not Do Well

The 1,000-proxy minimum on shared datacenter proxies will frustrate anyone who wants to test a small batch before committing. There is no option to buy, say, 10 shared datacenter proxies to verify they work on your target before scaling up. The dedicated proxies start at just 5 IPs, so that tier is accessible for testing, but the shared tier forces a larger initial commitment.

The dedicated datacenter proxies are USA-only. If you need dedicated IPs in European or Asian markets, ProxyScrape cannot help you with that product category. The residential and mobile proxies cover far more geography, but for dedicated addresses specifically, the geographic coverage is a meaningful limitation.

Mobile proxy location coverage is thin. Three countries is a small footprint compared to competitors who offer mobile IPs in 30 or more countries. This is probably the biggest gap in the current product lineup.

Verdict

ProxyScrape has been operating since 2018 and has managed to stay competitive on price while building out a genuinely large residential IP pool. The 120 million+ total pool across 195 countries is a serious number for a provider at this price point. The unlimited bandwidth on datacenter plans is real, not a soft cap in disguise, which matters when you are running high-volume jobs. The 72-hour money-back period is short by industry standards. Some providers offer 7 days. But it is enough to run a meaningful test.

The product is best suited for developers and data teams who need affordable, no-nonsense proxies for scraping, testing, or automation. It is not the right choice if you need a managed enterprise solution with an account manager, detailed reporting dashboards, or mobile proxies outside of three countries. For everyone else, the pricing is hard to argue with, and the residential IP pool is large enough to handle most serious workloads.
